The main goal in my life before joining BBI was to learn the Word of God systematically and
be useful for His service along with a secular job. But Lord in His mercy made His will clear
to me and He spoke with me through His Word in 1997, that He separated me for His great
ministry. The other important thing I do recollect regarding BBI is that it is the place where I
recognized my Lord given talent of writing. He helped me to write articles in magazines and
also to publish few books in Malayalam.

The contribution of BBI and its teachers has been immense in my life to guide me in the
Word of God. BBI has a big role in the height I stand today. Each one of the faculty members
is like the rung of a ladder that helped me to climb up in life. They have been with me in
every step of the way and lifted me higher and higher in life. They didn’t just teach me
theology, but also life.

Studying at BBI had been my great experience as I got the opportunity to grow in the
knowledge of the Word of God and discipline my personal life to serve my Lord. Ministering
the Word of God in different places has been made possible through the training I had
received from BBI. I highly recommend BBI to the devoted brethren who would like to study
the Word of God to prepare for the Lord’s work.

As Jesus Christ chose His disciples primarily to be with Him (Mark 3:14), BBI has been the
place where I have learnt to enjoy and experience Christ personally. Mighty thanks to the
teachers who taught me about the God of the Bible more than the Bible itself. This has
greatly helped me to understand that ministry is the Lord’s and not mine. The Holy Spirit has
enabled me to practise this truth humbly in my life and ministries, and be careful in bringing
glory to Him alone since my graduation in 2014. God is faithfully leading our family in
teaching the Bible, mobilising and sending few for missions (especially North India) thus far.

The faculty members at BBI are so committed, dedicated and informative. The class
teachings, oral discussions and large-scale practical trainings have helped me to improve my
personal, devotional, and ministerial life significantly. By God’s grace through the free
education at BBI, and the generous support of the BBI Trust, I could complete my studies and
now I am in the full-time ministry serving the Lord as Bible Teacher, Preacher and
Translator. Complete credit goes firstly to My Saviour who loved me and died for my sins
and secondly to BBI which generously allowed me to study.

Brethren Bible Institute, Pathanamthitta had played an important role in my life and ministry.
Its teachers who taught us were the best Bible scholars and at the same time evangelists or
pastor-teachers who gave us an opportunity to get first-hand experience of evangelism and
church ministry. Through these faculty members, BBI provided us with a strong theological
and doctrinal foundation. BBI trained its students in the mission field to know the need and
experience the mission field. As a result of that, almost all the students of our batch are
serving the Lord as pioneer missionaries, Bible teachers, preachers, and elders in different
parts of India. For me, BBI was a great blessing for the ministries which God called me for
His glory in Gujarat and other parts of India.

BBI exists to glorify God by training Christian believers to serve the local church and fulfill
the great commission of Lord Jesus Christ. It is a perfect place to start ministry training. I had
the privilege of being in BBI for five years. There, my understanding of Biblical principles
has grown, as has my love for the Lord and His word. BBI has given me a whole new
perspective of God. I always thank the Lord for all the faculty members. May God
continue to use BBI for His glory.

I am very happy to state that I could learn the Word of God from the most experienced
teachers who are among the brethren Assemblies. I could benefit from the wider collection of
books kept in BBI’s Library. Practical outreach training I received from BBI really helps in
my present evangelistic ministries. Various assembly ministry opportunities given to me by
local Assemblies during my studies are guiding factors for my present Assembly
responsibilities.

BBI was a real help from God to me in training, transforming, and equipping myself to be a
useful vessel for the Lord’s Vineyard, where I had learned to love God’s Word and live a life
according to Ezra 7:10. English language was very difficult for me earlier. However, BBI had
trained me to grasp, speak and translate the same. I am grateful to all the faculty members
who are real role models to me. Their lives and teaching had a great impact on me and helped
me a lot. I really praise and thank God for BBI because it is a great blessing to me & many.

BBI moulded me with the Word of God. It taught me to live by faith. I received excellent
training in Biblical languages, especially in Greek which I can now teach in Bible Colleges
and use it in my preaching & teaching ministries in various Assemblies. I learned so many
practical lessons from my teachers. Because of BBI’s financial support, I could successfully
complete my B. Th. and M. Th. studies.

BBI has played a great role in my life, especially to develop the knowledge of theology,
spirituality, and missiology. Every year we had the opportunity to witness the Lord in the
different regions of India, which brought immense impact in my ministry life. BBI is one of
the best Bible institutes I have ever seen.

I had the privilege to study the Word of God in BBI in the 2nd batch. I was really blessed to
be taught the Word of God in depth by the dedicated faculty members. BBI stands firm for
sound doctrine. BBI excels not only in Academic areas, but also in practical training. Its
administration is more concerned about students’ welfare too. BBI is a prestigious institution
among the Brethren.

I had the privilege to study in the first batch that graduated from BBI. For the last three
decades of my ministries, the teachings and the trainings I got from BBI were a strong
support. I joined BBI just after my resignation from a secular job, in response to the Lord’s
call for His ministry. There I could enjoy spiritual fellowship among the students and
Christian love and care by the Faculty and the Trust members. I got the basic knowledge
about the Biblical doctrines through the classes. All those classes and the teachers are still in
my memories. The open-air evangelistic meetings conducted in the surrounding areas of
Pathanamthitta, especially in private bus stand and Omallur (Bullock market) were the
opportunities that moulded us to stand firm with Gospel in public places. Altogether, those
three years I spent there was a blessed experience in my life.
