Goals of the Programme

  1. To help the student to apply a consistent, dispensational approach when interpreting the Scriptures and applying them to his own life and the lives of others.
  2. To train the student to make appropriate use of available linguistic tools to secure most accurate understanding of Scriptures possible.
  3. To help the student to possess a store of biblical and theological facts as a foundation for personal development, teaching and further study.
  4. To train the student in the methodology of research and in the written presentation of his research.

Requirement for admission

  1. Experience of conversion to Christ.
  2. A definite call for full-time ministry.
  3. An instinct to learn Greek and Hebrew.
  4. A bachelor degree in Theology with C+ grade (75%) and a pass in an entrance examination in Theology, Greek, and English with C+.

Or

A secular degree with a second class and a pass in an entrance examination in Bible Knowledge and English

Medium of study

M.Div.  is offered only in English medium.

Graduation Requirements

  1. Successful completion of 70 credits of course work for theological graduates and 90 credits of course work for non-theological Bachelor degree holders (secular graduates). Each credit amounts to 16 class hours and 32 hours of research. Thus, a four-credit course involves 64 hours of class room study and 128 hours of research.
  2. An assessment of Field education involvement.
  3. Successful completion of an approved thesis of not less than 20,000 words.
  4. An assessment of character, spiritual development and ministry commitment
  5.  Successful completion of an oral and written Comprehensive examination covering the course work and thesis.  

curriculum for M. Div. residential programme

A student of the M. B. S. programme should do all the courses offered for the P. G. Class except those courses dealing with the Syntax and Exegesis. Basic Hebrew and Greek are required. 

A student of the M. Div. and M. Th. programmes should do all the courses offered for the P. G. Class including the courses dealing with the Biblical languages.
